Campaign summary

Eid special Campaign (EidQuiz) is an SMS based interactive Quiz campaign which has the capability to present questions to the registered users, calculate the scores based on correct and incorrect answers of the questions, and select the top scorers of the quizzes based on first come basis. This contest provides Robi customers with the opportunity  to  use  SMS  to  answer  quizzes  and  stand  a  chance  to  win  prizes.

Campaign details

•  The duration of the contest will be 15 days including final round.

•  User need to subscribe to Funny Status service to participate in the contest.

•  A participant has to answer theme-based 50 unique regular multiple choice questions and 10 Bonus questions every day for 14 days.

•  There will be weekly and grand prize.

•  Only the participant who reaches to the weekly/grand benchmark points will be eligible to win the weekly/grand prize.

•  For grand prize, whoever touches the benchmark during the campaign will be the winner.

•  On the 15th day, there will be 100 regular questions and 20 Bonus questions. One (1) top scorer will be adjourned as the winner who reaches to the grand benchmark during the campaign period.

•  Questions will have multiple choice answers. Two answer options: A and B.

•  User will get the questions continuously as long as they keep playing on respective day’s theme.

•  Each correct answer will carry 1 point for regular questions. For correct Bonus answer, user will get 5 points.

•  Negative marking will be applicable for incorrect answer. For regular questions, it will be minus one (-1). For bonus, it will be minus five (-5).

•  Customers can check their scores of the day plus total score any time during the contest.

Process Flow

•  ROBI users will get USSD Push/SMS broadcast/WAP Push inviting them to subscribe to Funny Status Service to participate in the contest.

•  User will need to dial USSD activation code or send SMS to register for the contest. Existing subscribers need to type Q and send to 6309 to take part in the campaign.

•  To get the last question, registered users need to type Q and send to 6309.

•  Player will get the confirmation SMS along with contest start time after sending registration request.

•  Player will receive 1st question on the starting date of the contest based on particular theme.

•  Next question will be available only after the previous question is answered.

•  User can choose to play by reply SMS with the right keyword of the answer, e.g. A, B.

•  Any user who has registered will continue to get subsequent questions based on the respective day’s theme along with an invitation script every day for the 14 days of the contest.

•  Users will get total 10 bonus questions daily one by one after every 5 regular questions are answered.

•  On Final round, Users will get total 20 bonus questions daily one by one after every 5 regular questions are answered.

Score and winner selection process

•  For Week 1’s gift, user needs to reach the benchmark point to get the gift (from Day 1 to Day 7).

•  For Week 2’s gift, user needs to reach the benchmark point to get the gift (from Day 8 to Day 14).

•  For Grand Prize, user needs to reach the benchmark point to get the gift (from Day 1 to Day 15).

•  A player cannot be adjourned as the weekly winner for more than 1 time.

•  There will be 10 tricky bonus questions for the daily rounds and 20 bonus questions for the final round.

•  Each correct answer will carry 1 point for regular questions. For correct Bonus answer, user will get 5 points.

•  Negative marking will be applicable for incorrect answer. For regular questions, it will be minus one (-1). For bonus, it will be minus five (-5).

•  Customers can check their scores of the day plus total score any time during the contest.

Benchmark to be the winners

Whoever touches the weekly benchmark points will be rewarded. If any user reaches the Grand Benchmark, only he/she will be selected as grand prize winner and the campaign will be closed for everyone by informing all other participants.
If none reach to the benchmark, highest scorer will be adjourned as the winner for weekly and grand prize.
